Harris & Harris has donated financially and volunteered at multiple organizations over the years. Some of the organizations that Harris & Harris supports include:

One Warm Coat To help keep underpriviledged children and adults in the Chicago area warm throughout the winter, Harris & Harris collects and donates warm clothing to the Jane Addams Hull House.

Greater Chicago Food Depository Employees collect and donate food items for citizens in the greater Chicago area to help feed those less fortunate.

American Cancer Society Walk and Roll 2011 Harris & Harris raised money for the American Cancer Society's various fundraisers, including the Walk and Roll fundraiser. Several employees participated in the event this year. The event celebrated cancer survivors, educated men and women about the importance of early detection and prevention of cancer, and raised money to fund lifesaving research and support programs.

JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) Harris & Harris raises money to help fund research to find ways to prevent, better treat, and ultimately cure Type 1 Diabetes.

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation During 2010, Harris & Harris employees raised over $800 to donate to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The Susan G. Komen foundation is dedicated to education and research about causes, treatments, and the cures to Breast Cancer.

WITS (Working in the Schools) Every school year, Harris & Harris employees volunteer for the WITS program by dedicating their lunch hour each Thursday to read with a student in a Chicago Public School. Harris & Harris also makes financial contributions to help sponsor WITS events throughout the year.
