Major Quarterly Awards
President's Leadership Award
In honor of our late IT Director, Keith, we recognize his profound leadership skills by recognizing one of our employees every quarter that displays the same qualities as Keith did during his time with us. Keith was a great colleague, friend and leader to all Harris & Harris employees.
Client Engagement Award
In honor of our late Client Services Supervisor for the City of Chicago, Ruby, we recognize her big heart, kindness, patience and ability to engage the people she came across on a daily basis whether it be employees or clients. Every quarter, we recognize one of our own employees that exhibit those same qualities.
Other Quarterly Awards
At the end of our quarterly awards ceremony, all of the award winner names are placed into a hat and a name is drawn. This individual then has the chance of winning up to $1,000 during our awards ceremony game. In Our awards ceremonies are filled with much applause and laughs–employees always look forward attending them every quarter.
Company-Wide Incentives
Incentive Programs for Account Representatives
By nature, the job of a collection account representative is a delicate balance of compassion, discipline and creativity. When every situation is unique, the approach must be unique as well. In part, this is what makes collecting stressful. Therefore, we balance the stress with activities that build comradery, encourage communication and make training fun. Applause
We believe a contemporary collections firm is one that recognizes the contributions of its staff, and rewards those individuals accordingly. This positive, mutually respectful business environment carries over when our professionals work your problem accounts. It’s a culture we foster, and one that yields the results our clients expect.
Our account representatives are paid on salary plus commission. We are able to hire and retain people because they are given a competitive base salary and high percentage of commission. This ultimately results in a higher net return to the client. Account representatives can often earn more in monthly commission than they do in salary. In addition, collection managers run daily contests for cash or prizes.
As most people in the industry understand, being a collection representative can be a tough job. Therefore, we like to make our environment fun and uplifting, while producing excellent recoveries for our clients.
